The Willow Spring Storm basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Fuquay - Varina Bengals to 32 in the Storm league triumph on Friday.
The Storm now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southeast Raleigh for a contest on Monday, January 30. Willow Spring will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 55-50 non-league loss to Clayton (Clayton, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-10.
The Bengals (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Clayton (Clayton, NC). The Comets enter the non-league contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, Clayton ran past Southeast Raleigh (Raleigh, NC), 55-50, in a non-league contest.
