In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Martinsville Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 52-44 triumph over the Halifax County Comets.
In their next game, the Bulldogs meet the Graham G-Men (Bluefield, VA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 28. Martinsville will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record. The G-Men enter the match with a 6-7 record after their 60-31 non-league win over Richlands (Richlands, VA).
With the defeat, Halifax County moves to 5-6 on the year. The Comets travel to Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Monday, January 30. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 4-10.
