The Kinston Vikings basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Southwest Onslow Stallions to 35 in the Vikings non-league victory on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Hanover for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Kinston will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 51-20 non-league win over South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-2.
The Stallions (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC). The Blue Devils come into the contest with a 7-4 record.
