In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Mathews Blue Devils basketball team scored a good 46-38 triumph over the Middlesex Chargers.
In their next game, the Blue Devils meet the Carver College and Career Academy Wolverines (Chester, VA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 31. Mathews will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Wolverines enter the match with a 7-6 record after their 45-17 non-league win over West Point (West Point, VA).
