In Friday's league outing, the North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC) basketball squad edged the host Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC), by a margin of 36-32.
The Hawks (10-7) will now prepare for their outing against East Duplin (Beulaville, NC). The Panthers go into the outing with a 6-7 record. In their last outing, East Duplin held off Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC), 43-41, in a non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they travel to Heide Trask for a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 1. Wallace-Rose Hill will clash with a Titans squad coming off a 51-27 non-league win over East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC). The Titans record now stands at 9-8.
