Fans at Friday's league challenge between the South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) and the visiting North Valleys Panthers (Reno, NV), saw South Tahoe's basketball squad overcome North Valleys by a tally of 60-41.

With the victory, South Tahoe improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to confront the Greenwave in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Greenwave come into the challenge with a record of 4-11. Churchill County lost 36-32 in their recent league challenge against Lowry (Winnemucca, NV)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Truckee Wolverines (Truckee, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. North Valleys will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 61-16 league loss to South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA).
