The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX), 4-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 9 challenge, on Thursday, February 2. The Colony will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 2-1 league win over Reedy (Frisco, TX).

The Mustangs now have a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frisco for a 5A Region 2 District 9 challenge on Monday, January 30. Creekview will confront a Raccoons team coming off a 1-0 league win over Turner (Carrollton, TX). The Raccoons record now stands at 5-3.
