The Redwood Christian Eagles basketball team (San Lorenzo, CA), was overwhelmed 89-38 in Saturday's league battle with the host Athenian Owls (Danville, CA)
The Owls now possess a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bentley for a Bay Counties - East battle on Tuesday, January 30. Athenian will confront a Phoenix team coming off a 56-40 league loss to College Prep (Oakland, CA). The Phoenix record now stands at 5-11.
The Eagles (5-16) will now prepare for their battle against Valley Christian (Dublin, CA). The Vikings come into the Bay Counties - East battle with a 1-16 record. In their last battle, Valley Christian was overwhelmed by College Prep (Oakland, CA), 72-35, in a league battle.
