Nebraska High School Basketball - Banner County tops Weldon Valley

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Banner County Wildcats (Harrisburg, NE) and the visiting Weldon Valley Warriors (Weldona, CO), saw Banner County's basketball squad knock off Weldon Valley by a count of 58-40.
With the victory, Banner County upgrades its record to 3-13 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Minatare (Minatare, NE) to play the Indians in a D2 District 11 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 4-11.
Next up, the Warriors play the Fleming Wildcats (Fleming, CO) in a 1A North Central challenge, on Friday, February 2. Weldon Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 61-25 non-league loss to Akron (Akron, CO).
