The Guilford Vikings (Rockford, IL) basketball knocked off the host Belvidere Bucs (Belvidere, IL), 70-51 in Saturday's league test.
The Vikings (19-4) will now prepare for their test against Freeport (Freeport, IL). The Pretzels go into the Northern Illinois 10 test with a 12-11 record. In their last test, Freeport was defeated by Central (Burlington, IL), 47-46, in a non-league contest.
The Bucs (3-20) will now prepare for their contest against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Huskies enter the Northern Illinois 10 contest with a 8-15 record. In their last contest, Harlem was defeated by Guilford (Rockford, IL), 65-34, in a league contest.
