New Mexico High School Basketball - Miyamura can't hold off Bloomfield

The Bloomfield Bobcats basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Miyamura Patriots to 43 in the Bobcats league victory on Saturday.

The Bobcats now sport a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kirtland Central for a 4A District 1 contest on Thursday, February 1. Bloomfield will battle a Broncos team coming off a 59-56 league win over Aztec (Aztec, NM). The Broncos record now stands at 8-9.

The Patriots (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against Shiprock (Shiprock, NM). The Chieftains come into the 4A District 1 contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Shiprock edged Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM), 63-51, in a non-league contest.
