Marsh Valley Eagles (Arimo, ID) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Buhl Indians (Buhl, ID), 85-68 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Marsh Valley upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Snake River (Blackfoot, ID) to play the Panthers in a 3A South East Idaho bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 16-2. Snake River won 84-44 in their recent non-league bout against Kimberly (Kimberly, ID)

Next up, the Indians play the Filer Wildcats (Filer, ID) in a 3A Sawtooth Central Idaho bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Buhl will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 49-38 league win over Gooding (Gooding, ID).
