The Butler Bears basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Clinton Cardinals to 44 in the Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bears now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sherwood for a Ozark Highlands contest on Tuesday, January 30. Butler will battle a Marksmen team coming off a 65-48 non-league loss to Concordia (Concordia, MO). The Marksmen record now stands at 7-9.
The Cardinals (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against El Dorado Springs (El Dorado Springs, MO). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, El Dorado Springs ran past McDonald County (Anderson, MO), 48-45, in a non-league contest.
