South Pemiscot Bulldogs (Steele, MO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Campbell Camels (Campbell, MO), 62-50 in a league bout.

With the win, South Pemiscot upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Bulldogs host Malden (Malden, MO) to play the Green Wave in a Bootheel bout on Monday, January 29. The Green Wave go into the bout with a record of 15-3. Malden won 75-44 in their recent non-league bout against Kennett (Kennett, MO)

Next up, the Camels play the North Pemiscot Mustangs (Wardell, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Campbell will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record.
