With the victory, Northview Academy improves its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Cocke County (Newport, TN) to confront the Fighting Cocks in a 3A District 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Fighting Cocks come into the challenge with a record of 9-14. Cocke County lost 75-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Morristown-Hamblen West (Morristown, TN)

Next up, the Green Hornets confront the Grainger Grizzlies (Rutledge, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 29. Carter will attempt to improve on its 9-13 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 58-53 league loss to Volunteer (Church Hill, TN).
