The Douglas Trojans basketball team (Winston, OR), was overwhelmed 73-43 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Cascade Christian Challengers (Medford, OR)

The Challengers now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rogue River for a 3A Far West battle on Tuesday, January 30. Cascade Christian will confront a Chieftains team coming off a 91-26 league loss to Douglas (Winston, OR). The Chieftains record now stands at 1-15.

The Trojans (16-4) will now prepare for their battle against Glide (Glide, OR). The Wildcats come into the 3A Far West battle with a 5-14 record. In their last battle, Glide was overwhelmed by St. Mary's (Medford, OR), 88-34, in a league battle.
