Catoosa Indians (Catoosa, OK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Wagoner Bulldogs (Wagoner, OK), 53-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Catoosa upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Indians travel to Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK) to clash with the Tigers in a Verdigris Valley bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 11-7. Fort Gibson lost 42-41 in their recent non-league bout against Ada (Ada, OK)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Locust Grove Pirates (Locust Grove, OK) in a Verdigris Valley bout, on Friday, February 2. Wagoner will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 5-13 record after their 56-54 league loss to Hilldale (Muskogee, OK).
