Colorado High School Basketball - Pagosa Springs nips Centauri

Pagosa Springs Pirates (Pagosa Springs, CO) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Centauri Falcons (La Jara, CO), 33-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Pagosa Springs upgrades its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Pirates host Ignacio (Ignacio, CO) to play the Bobcats in a 4A/3A Intermountain bout on Friday, February 2. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 6-7. Ignacio lost 50-25 in their recent league bout against Alamosa (Alamosa, CO)

Next up, the Falcons play the Bayfield Wolverines (Bayfield, CO) in a 4A/3A Intermountain bout, on Friday, February 2. Centauri will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record.
