The Central Decatur Cardinals basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils to 43 in the Cardinals league triumph on Saturday.

The Cardinals now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lenox for a Pride of Iowa contest on Monday, January 29. Central Decatur will battle a Tigers team coming off a 51-35 league win over Martensdale-St. Mary's (Martensdale, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-8.

The Blue Devils (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Panorama (Panora, IA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Panorama was defeated by Exira-EHK (Elk Horn, IA), 66-56, in a non-league contest.
