The Coronado Leopards (Gallina, NM) basketball knocked off the host Chesterton Academy Saints (Albuquerque, NM), 52-43 in Saturday's league test.

The Leopards (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM). The Warriors go into the A District 7 test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Jemez Valley went down by Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 52-41, in a league test.

The Saints now own a 1-13 record. They play next when they travel to Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy for a A District 7 test on Tuesday, January 30. Chesterton Academy will encounter a Eagle squad coming off a 81-59 league win over New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM). The Eagle record now stands at 7-9.
