The Davenport Gorillas basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Chewelah Cougars to 39 in the Gorillas league victory on Saturday.

The Gorillas now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest Christian School for a 2B Bi-County contest on Tuesday, January 30. Davenport will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 64-32 league win over Reardan (Reardan, WA). The Crusaders record now stands at 12-7.

The Cougars (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against St. George's (Spokane, WA). The Dragons come into the 2B Bi-County contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, St. George's triumphed over Kettle Falls (Kettle Falls, WA), 57-48, in a league contest.
