The Choctaw Central Warriors (Philadelphia, MS) basketball crushed the visiting Leake Central Gators (Carthage, MS), 100-71 in Saturday's league test.
The Warriors (20-5) will now prepare for their test against West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS). The Knights go into the 4A Region 4 test with a 19-3 record. In their last test, West Lauderdale walloped Newton County (Decatur, MS), 71-51, in a league test.
The Gators now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Scott Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 30. Leake Central will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 52-46 league loss to Newton (Newton, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 11-10.
