California High School Basketball - Coleville can't hold off Sage Ridge

The Sage Ridge Scorpions basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Coleville Wolves to 53 in the Scorpions league triumph on Saturday.
The Scorpions now sport a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Smith Valley for a 1A West contest on Monday, January 29. Sage Ridge will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 62-18 league win over Whittell (Zephyr Cove, NV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-3.
The Wolves (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against Whittell (Zephyr Cove, NV). The Warriors enter the 1A West contest with a 1-16 record. In their last contest, Whittell was nudged by Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV), 91-24, in a league contest.
