Lakeside Eagles (Nine Mile Falls, WA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Colville Crimson Hawks (Colville, WA), 68-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lakeside upgrades its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Medical Lake (Medical Lake, WA) to play the Cardinals in a 1A Northeast bout on Thursday, February 1. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 6-12.

Next up, the Crimson Hawks play the Newport Grizzlies (Newport, WA) in a 1A Northeast bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Colville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a 2-15 record after their 88-14 league loss to Freeman (Rockford, WA).
