Illinois High School Basketball - Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City can't hold off Farina South Central

The Farina South Central Cougars basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats to 42 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 12-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brownstown/St. Elmo for a National Trail contest on Friday, February 2.

The Bobcats (10-14) will now prepare for their contest against Mulberry Grove (Mulberry Grove, IL). The Aces enter the non-league contest with a 4-13 record.
