The Dallas Mountaineers basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Crestwood Comets to 37 in the Mountaineers league triumph on Saturday.
The Mountaineers now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tunkhannock for a Wyoming Valley 1 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Dallas will battle a Tigers team coming off a 70-43 league loss to Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-7.
The Comets (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA). The Cougars enter the Wyoming Valley 1 contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Hazleton Area ran past Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA), 70-43, in a league contest.
