Colorado High School Basketball - De Beque edges Nucla

In Saturday's non-league outing, the De Beque Dragons (De Beque, CO) basketball squad nipped the visiting Nucla Mustangs (Nucla, CO), by a margin of 58-55.

The Dragons (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Plateau Valley (Collbran, CO). The Cowboys go into the 2A/1A Western Slope outing with a 11-1 record.

The Mustangs now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Mancos for a 2A/1A San Juan Basin outing on Thursday, February 1. Nucla will encounter a Bluejays squad coming off a 82-32 league win over Ridgway (Ridgway, CO). The Bluejays record now stands at 9-3.
