The Derry Trojans (Derry, PA) basketball felled the visiting Mt. Pleasant Vikings (Mt. Pleasant, PA), 66-50 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Trojans (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Apollo Ridge (Spring Church, PA). The Vikings go into the WPIAL 3A 3 test with a 2-16 record. In their last test, Apollo Ridge was beaten by Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA), 64-46, in a league test.

The Vikings now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Yough for a WPIAL 3A 4 test on Friday, February 2.
