With the victory, Morris Central upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Cherry Valley-Springfield (Cherry Valley, NY) to play the Patriots in a Section 4 Tri-Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Rockets play the Cincinnatus Central Lions (Cincinnatus, NY) in a Section 3 Central Counties challenge, on Monday, January 29. DeRuyter will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record.
