Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the N.C. School for the Deaf Bears (Morganton, NC) and the visiting Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf Fighting Hornet (Wilson, NC), saw N.C. School for the Deaf's basketball squad wallop Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf by a tally of 53-18.

With the victory, N.C. School for the Deaf improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Bears host The Master's Academy (Forest City, NC) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 6-8. The Master's Academy won 48-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Community Christian Academy (Bessemer City, NC)

Next up, the Fighting Hornet confront the Heritage Christian Academy Patriots (Zebulon, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record.
