The First Assembly Christian Crusaders (Cordova, TN) basketball nipped the host Evangelical Christian Eagles (Cordova, TN), 49-43 in Saturday's league test.

The Crusaders (17-3) will now prepare for their test against Northpoint Christian (Southaven, MS). The Trojans go into the Division II-A West District 6 test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Northpoint Christian was tipped by City University School of Liberal Arts (Memphis, TN), 58-42, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Lausanne Collegiate for a Division II-A West District 6 test on Tuesday, January 30. Evangelical Christian will encounter a Lynx squad coming off a 72-44 league win over St. George's (Collierville, TN). The Lynx record now stands at 6-11.
