In Saturday's league outing, the Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) basketball squad beat the host South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL), by a count of 46-34.

The Raiders (15-9) will now prepare for their outing against Elgin (Elgin, IL). The Maroons go into the Upstate Eight outing with a 7-16 record. In their last outing, Elgin defeated Round Lake (Round Lake, IL), 61-31, in a non-league outing.

The Storm now hold a 12-11 record. They play next when they travel to West Chicago for a Upstate Eight outing on Tuesday, January 30. South Elgin will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 68-47 league loss to Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-17.
