Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Gorham Rams (Gorham, ME) and the host Sanford Spartans (Sanford, ME), saw Gorham's basketball squad knock off Sanford by a count of 67-59.

With the victory, Gorham upgrades its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Rams host Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME) to play the Scots in a AA South challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Scots come into the challenge with a record of 2-13. Bonny Eagle lost 62-54 in their recent league challenge against Deering (Portland, ME)

Next up, the Spartans play the Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) in a AA South challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Sanford will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 70-62 league loss to South Portland (South Portland, ME).
