Northwest Webster Cougars (Manson, IA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA), 74-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Northwest Webster upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 3-13.

Next up, the Rams play the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA) in a Heart of Iowa - Large bout, on Monday, January 29. Greene County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 82-45 league win over Perry (Perry, IA).
