Arkansas High School Basketball - Manila trounces Harrisburg

January 27, 2024: Harrisburg, AR 72432

The Manila Lions (Manila, AR) basketball crushed the host Harrisburg Hornets (Harrisburg, AR), 61-37 in Saturday's league test.

The Lions (12-14) will now prepare for their test against Corning (Corning, AR). The Bobcats go into the 3A Region 3 test with a 15-9 record. In their last test, Corning was trounced by Rivercrest (Wilson, AR), 63-30, in a league test.

The Hornets now own a 5-19 record. They play next when they host Gosnell for a 3A Region 3 test on Tuesday, January 30. Harrisburg will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 74-62 league loss to Osceola (Osceola, AR). The Pirates record now stands at 7-11.
