Keota Eagles (Keota, IA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hillcrest Academy Ravens (Kalona, IA), 71-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Keota upgrades its record to 16-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA) to play the Plainsmen in a South Iowa Cedar bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Plainsmen go into the bout with a record of 14-3. Belle Plaine won 64-39 in their recent non-league bout against BCLUW (Conrad, IA)

Next up, the Ravens play the Wapello Indians (Wapello, IA) in a SEI - North bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Hillcrest Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record.
