Lee County Trojans (Leesburg, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets (Thomasville, GA), 63-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Lee County upgrades its record to 18-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to Houston County (Warner Robins, GA) to play the Bears in a AAAAAA Region 1 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 11-9. Houston County won 74-66 in their recent league bout against Northside (Warner Robins, GA)

Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Veterans Warhawks (Kathleen, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 1 bout, on Friday, February 2. Thomas County Central will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Warhawks go into the bout with a 13-8 record after their 69-65 league loss to Tift County (Tifton, GA).
