Nevada High School Basketball - Needles trounces Lincoln County

January 27, 2024: Panaca, NV 89042

The Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA) basketball crushed the host Lincoln County Lynx (Panaca, NV), 85-43 in Saturday's league test.

The Mustangs (23-0) will now prepare for their test against Founders Classical Academy (Las Vegas, NV). The Centurions go into the 2A Southern test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, Founders Classical Academy was trounced by White Pine (Ely, NV), 37-29, in a league test.

The Lynx now own a 14-8 record. They play next when they host Adelson for a 2A Southern test on Tuesday, January 30. Lincoln County will encounter a squad coming off a 57-39 league loss to Laughlin (Laughlin, NV). The record now stands at 1-13.
