The South Shore Vikings (Brooklyn, NY) basketball felled the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters (Brooklyn, NY), 73-62 in Saturday's league test.
The Vikings (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Canarsie (Brooklyn, NY). The Chiefs go into the PSAL AAAA Brooklyn/Staten Island II test with a 8-12 record. In their last test, Canarsie thwarted Wagner (Staten Island, NY), 83-78, in a non-league test.
The Railsplitters now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Brooklyn Collegiate for a PSAL AAAA Brooklyn/Staten Island I test on Monday, January 29. Lincoln will encounter a squad coming off a 54-44 league loss to Eagle Academy II (Brooklyn, NY). The record now stands at 10-9.
