Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lisbon Greyhounds (Lisbon Falls, ME), 84-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Mountain Valley upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Falcons host Lake Region (Naples, ME) to clash with the Lakers in a B South bout on Monday, January 29. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Lake Region won 66-61 in their recent league bout against Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME)

Next up, the Greyhounds clash with the Dirigo Cougars (Dixfield, ME) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Lisbon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 61-30 non-league win over Lisbon (Lisbon Falls, ME).
