The Russellville Panthers basketball team (Russellville, KY), was overwhelmed 72-50 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY)
The Hornets now possess a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Russell County for a District 16 battle on Tuesday, January 30. Metcalfe County will battle a Lakers team coming off a 54-51 non-league loss to Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY). The Lakers record now stands at 10-9.
The Panthers (3-18) will now prepare for their battle against Warren East (Bowling Green, KY). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 12-6 record.
