Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Poultney Blue Devils (Poultney, VT) and the visiting Mill River Minutemen (North Clarendon, VT), saw Poultney's basketball squad hold off Mill River by a count of 58-54.

With the victory, Poultney upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Whitehall (Whitehall, NY) to play the Railroaders in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 29. The Railroaders come into the challenge with a record of 11-5. Whitehall lost 62-46 in their recent league challenge against Warrensburg (Warrensburg, NY)

Next up, the Minutemen play the Long Trail (Dorset, VT) in a Southern Vermont - D challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Mill River will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record.
