Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN) and the visiting Moorhead Spuds (Moorhead, MN), saw St. Michael-Albertville's basketball squad knock off Moorhead by a count of 81-68.

With the victory, St. Michael-Albertville upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Wayzata (Plymouth, MN) to play the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 15-1. Wayzata won 92-80 in their recent league challenge against Washburn (Minneapolis, MN)

Next up, the Spuds play the Elk River Elks (Elk River, MN) in a AAAA Section 8 challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Moorhead will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record.
