Morris Redskins (Morris, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL), 47-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Morris upgrades its record to 12-10 on the season. The Redskins travel to LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL) to clash with the Cavaliers in a Interstate Eight bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 15-7. LaSalle-Peru lost 62-57 in their recent non-league bout against Streator (Streator, IL)

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes (Woodstock, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Sycamore will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record.
