The Rangeley Lakes Lakers basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting North Haven Hawks to 47 in the Lakers league triumph on Saturday.

The Lakers now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley for a D South contest on Tuesday, January 30. Rangeley Lakes will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 71-42 non-league win over Piscataquis (Guilford, ME). The Cavaliers record now stands at 11-3.

The Hawks (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Vinalhaven (Vinalhaven, ME). The Vikings enter the D South contest with a 0-14 record. In their last contest, Vinalhaven was routed by Temple Academy (Waterville, ME), 57-29, in a league contest.
