Noxubee County Tigers (Macon, MS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Southeast Lauderdale Tigers (Meridian, MS), 49-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Noxubee County upgrades its record to 8-10 on the season. The Tigers travel to Enterprise (Enterprise, MS) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 5 bout on Monday, January 29. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-15. Enterprise lost 65-35 in their recent league bout against McLaurin (Florence, MS)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the McLaurin Tigers (Florence, MS) in a 3A Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Southeast Lauderdale will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record.
