The Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL), 57-56 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Blue Devils (22-4) will now prepare for their test against Mundelein (Mundelein, IL). The Mustangs go into the North Suburban test with a 8-16 record. In their last test, Mundelein was tipped by Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL), 60-48, in a league test.
The Pirates now own a 18-7 record. They play next when they host Conant for a Mid-Suburban - West test on Tuesday, January 30. Palatine will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 66-33 league win over Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 13-9.
