Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Strath Haven topped by Penncrest

The Penncrest Lions basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Strath Haven Panthers to 41 in the Lions league victory on Saturday.

The Lions now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harriton for a Central contest on Tuesday, January 30. Penncrest will battle a Rams team coming off a 62-57 league loss to Radnor (Radnor, PA). The Rams record now stands at 11-7.

The Panthers (1-17) will now prepare for their contest against Garnet Valley (Glen Mills, PA). The Jaguars come into the Central contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Garnet Valley dropped by Lower Merion (Ardmore, PA), 62-58, in a league contest.
