Nevada High School Basketball - Pershing County knocked off by West Wendover

The West Wendover Wolverines basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Pershing County Mustangs to 39 in the Wolverines league triumph on Saturday.

The Wolverines now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Battle Mountain for a 2A Northern contest on Tuesday, January 30. West Wendover will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 73-42 league win over Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV). The Longhorns record now stands at 13-9.

The Mustangs (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Yerington (Yerington, NV). The Lions enter the 2A Northern contest with a 13-8 record.
