Illinois High School Basketball - Waubonsie Valley smashes Plainfield East

The Waubonsie Valley Warriors basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Plainfield East Bengals to 35 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Warriors now sport a 22-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host DeKalb for a DuPage Valley contest on Friday, February 2. Waubonsie Valley will battle a Barbs team coming off a 68-46 league win over Naperville North (Naperville, IL). The Barbs record now stands at 17-6.
The Bengals (9-14) will now prepare for their contest against Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Steelmen enter the SouthWest Prairie contest with a 15-9 record. In their last contest, Joliet Central triumphed over Lockport (Lockport, IL), 62-53, in a non-league contest.
